The Chongqing BOE Smart Electronic System Intelligent Manufacturing Production Line Project is located at the intersection of Yunhan Avenue and Taihe Road, Shuitu Town, Beibei District, Chongqing City, covering an area of 113,092m2. After completion, it will mainly produce electronic products, LCDs and LCD TV sets, etc. The company mainly undertakes the clean engineering of the machine plant, including: construction, HVAC, water supply and drainage, and electrical system engineering.

The designed capacity of the BOE Chongqing G8.5 TFT-LCD (thin-film-transistor liquid-crystal display) Production Line Project is 120,000 pieces/month. The main products include display modules for laptops and TVs, and the annual sales income will reach RMB 15 billion. This project adopts the advanced Oxide TFT (oxide thin-film transistor), touch, ADSDS (advanced super dimension switch) wide viewing angle, and other independent core technologies of BOE, which are one of the most important production technologies for high-end displays in the future; through the innovative mode of combining financial capital and industrial capital, the financing difficulties in the development of large-scale enterprises are relatively well resolved; it has driven the gather of 15 upstream and downstream enterprises, including Air Liquid, Sumitomo, and Dongjin, and will form a high-end display industry cluster at the 100 billion level.
